Naps are never this easy

Carolyn is not much of a napper .... well, not on the weekends at least. She takes a 2-3 hour nap at daycare during the week, but we are lucky if we get a 15 minute nap from her on the weekends, and those are usually in her carseat or a stroller. She is just so afraid that she is going to miss something.

The other day, I was folding laundry and doing some other things downstairs. She was playing nicely with Leo and entertaining herself when all of the sudden, I heard her little voice from underneath the desk saying "Mama, blanket." I gave her a blanket and she proceeded to take an hour long nap -- in LEO'S TOY BASKET. I wish naps were this easy all of the time.

What happened to our baby ....

Not sure when it happened or how it happened, but these photos really made me miss that little tiny bird that would curl up in our arms and sleep.

Now, all she wants to do is run, run, run.

And, the amount of new words she learns everyday is pretty awe-inspiring.

She brings a whole new level of energy into our lives.

How refreshing it is. How exhausting it is.
