Summer Camping in the Mountains

Five families, gorgeous scenery, lots of crafts, plenty of dirt, a moose family in our campsite, cool air, some unfortunate illnesses, and (overall) a great time with great friends.

A Special Afternoon Date

One of Carolyn's teachers -- Miss Lauren -- has been busy all summer taking classes for Masters-level teaching certification, so she has not been around school. As we were leaving school one afternoon, Carolyn saw her picture and said how much she missed her. Lauren agreed to meet Carolyn for a special afternoon date. The two went to tea at the fancy hotel downtown and explored the gardens. Carolyn was so enamored by the afternoon and felt very special.
