Help Wanted
I really wish I could hire a personal secretary .... I always seem to be moving and doing from the moment I wake up until the moment I go to bed, but I still need a few additional hours in my day to finish everything I want to or should be doing. Ugh. So, apologies to you for the the lack of posts. I have some pictures and videos on my camera that need to be uploaded, so stay tuned.

A Banner Day
This is a post to help me document our progress on potty training. Ignore it if you do not care.
Since January (approx 2.5 years old), Carolyn has been exclusively in underware during the day. By now, accidents are very infrequent, maybe once every two weeks. She still wears a diaper at night, but recently has been less wet in the morning. This morning, I found her completely naked, standing at the top of the stairs, saying she needed help. When I asked why, she grabbed my hand and took me to the bathroom where she had taken off her PJs and pooped in the big potty all by herself. The diaper on the ground was completely dry. Ah. Are we really close to being out of diapers completely? Hope so.

School Pictures
Here they are .... of course, she chose pink as her background color. Unfortunately, she had a sore nose so looks a little like rudolph. The grassy meadow scene is pretty cheesy. But, besides that, they are cute.
Here is my favorite .... her classroom picture. Her teachers are currently Angela and Amanda. They are both great, but neither of them are in the picture with the kids. Instead, we have Nancy who is a "float" teacher who often works in the classroom and Sarah who was her primary teacher until a few weeks ago (when she transferred to the food services and "float" position). Apparently, her primary teachers (Angela and Amanda) were on break or not yet on duty when the picture was taken. Her friends include Ellie, Alexander, Carolyn (top row); Connor, Lucas, Nathan, Isaac, Kavi, Jackson (middle row); Gianna, Grant, Ella (bottom row). Her friends Nora and Zoe must have arrived late for picture day because they are not in the class photo.

Gray skies are gonna clear up ....
At least I hope so.
Comparatively speaking, things could be much worse, but still it was a bad two weeks in our household and I am ready for them to be over. It all started with steve being out of town for an entire week and me suffering from a migraine off and on all week. Once he got home, all seemed to be better. Or at least I had some back-up assistance so I could more effectively deal with the headache and all of the other aspects of life. We had really strange weather patterns, so I am pretty sure it was the massive swings in barametric pressure that messed with my sinuses to cause the on-again, off-again headaches.
A minor cold (for both me and Carolyn) soon followed. Carolyn's cold turned into an ear infection, with a ruptured ear drum. My cold turned into laryngitis. Antibiotics quickly started working on Carolyn's ear, giving her relief. And lots of tea and honey slowly brought my voice back, at least enough to teach.
Oh, but today, I woke up with hives head to toe. Ugh.
