A Year in Review & Resolutions for the Next

I thought I would take a moment to look back and reflect on the adventures and excitement of the year. In doing so, I realized that 2010 was not about any grand adventures, but more about the mundane moments. It was about settling into the normal routine of daily life, loving one another, and making every-day moments turn into something magical and exciting. Seeing the world anew from a toddler's eyes has been more exciting and inspiring than I could have ever imagined.

2010 was a good year. Steve worked for Society of Manufacturing Engineers. Becky worked at the University of Utah. Carolyn turned 2. Leo turned 10. We were all healthy. Life is good.

As for resolutions, here are a few goals of mine for 2011:

Spend Less, Save More
Love my family even more than I do now
Listen More, Speak Less
Don't foget friends' and family's birthdays
Work hard at work, so I can spend more time at home
Plan weekly dinners and shopping lists
Take more pictures
