Snowbird Mountain School - 2017 season

Both of the girls did the Snowbird Mountain School for 10 weeks.

Carolyn skied with Ross, the loud Australian who has been her instructor for two years. He challenges the kids and always finds the trees for them.  Carolyn is nearly parallel and is able to ski most areas on the mountain.  She is working on keeping her shoulders facing downhill.

Carolyn with her all-male ski team!
Ross wears a go-pro and always posts videos of the kids skiing after each lesson.  The feed is pretty shaky and tends make me motion sick, but it is pretty awesome to see the runs that he is taking them on:     http://skilessonsutah.com/yourvids.aspx.  Just type in "Carolyn Altman"

Lizzie skied with Megan, who has more enthusiasm than you can imagine and always wears a tutu over her ski pants.  She turned Lizzie into a skier.  Lizzie is skiing all greens and most blues.  She can hockey stop and is turning without being in a constant wedge.  She has mastered the chair lifts, though did take a spill into the "tuna net" on one of the lifts earlier this season.
