Surprise... ALMOST!

Heather has talked about wanting a surprise party since I have known her.  It is kind of hard to plan such a party, if the guest of honor keeps asking for it.  We almost pulled it off.  She thought she was picking me up to go to a mid-day movie.  Instead, I invited the other faculty and staff in our department to come over for lunch.  Heather is never early for anything, but she was so excited for our movie date that she showed up 10 minutes early, before most of the other people had arrived ... so she was surprised, but we did not have the exciting "surprise" as she walked into the house.
