At Carolyn's school, they do something called "Walk Around the Sun" for birthdays. Carolyn led Elizabeth through the ceremony at home. The birthday child walks around the sun for each year of life, and his/her parent (or in this case, sister) describes what the child did during each year of life. The earth goes around the sun, the sun. The earth goes around the sun, the sun. It takes 12 months, 52 weeks, 365 days. And Elizabeth is 1. .... And Elizabeth is 2.
She is not much of a talker (though, she is trying). She still loves to suck her fingers. She is a happy little girl, and apparently loves berries and cake. We love her!
